How to reserve a storage unit in Prescott

Stephen’s Self-Storage is locally owned. Our Prescott location on Orrin Road offers clean, secure, well-maintained self storage units—also known as mini storage—for Prescott residents and businesses. We don’t play rate games. We believe in fair, competitive pricing and good value throughout your stay. Our move-in specials are temporary discounts off the regular rental rate. Before you rent, we clearly explain the regular rate, how long any discount lasts, and the requirements or additional charges associated with the offer. You’ll know what to expect during the special and the regular rate that applies afterward.

Customers usually go 18 months or longer between increases to their regular rental rate. We take changes seriously, though circumstances can occasionally require an earlier adjustment. Any change comes with advance written notice as required by your rental agreement.

Whether you’re moving between homes, remodeling, or reclaiming garage space, we can help you find room for furniture, boxes, and seasonal belongings. Our units can also provide space for business inventory, supplies, and equipment. We’ll help you compare suitable unit sizes before you reserve. Enjoy extensive gate-access hours seven days a week. Your permitted gate-access hours are specified in your rental agreement and explained when you rent. What temperature-controlled storage options are available in Prescott?

Our Prescott facility offers interior temperature-controlled units and larger temperature-controlled drive-up units. These spaces are heated in winter and air-conditioned in summer to help protect stored belongings from excessive heat and cold. What is the difference between Standard, Mid Preferred, and Preferred?

For interior temperature-controlled units, these categories describe walking distance from a building access door. Preferred units are closest, Mid Preferred units are an intermediate distance, and Standard units are generally farther along the hallway. Choose Standard to save on rent, or Preferred for a shorter walk when loading and unloading. Ask us about the position of the available unit before reserving.

Do I need temperature-controlled storage?

The right choice depends on what you plan to store, how sensitive it is to heat and cold, and how long it will be in storage. Temperature control can be useful for belongings that could be damaged by temperature extremes, especially items with significant financial or personal value. Call us to discuss your belongings and compare temperature-controlled and regular drive-up options before you reserve.

ACH discount & special offer terms

1. ACH automatic-payment discount

Receive the ACH price shown when you enroll in automatic payments using your checking account’s routing and account numbers. You must remain enrolled in ACH autopay to continue receiving this discount. If you discontinue ACH autopay, the ACH discount ends.

The ACH discount is separate from any temporary move-in discount. ACH prices are rounded up to the next whole dollar. The ACH discount may be combined with our military/police/EMT and prepayment discounts when otherwise eligible, subject to the online-offer restrictions in section 3.

2. Move-in specials — six-month minimum stay

Move-in specials provide a temporary discount for the first two or three months, as shown for your selected unit in the table. The advertised ACH special price includes both the move-in discount and the separate ACH automatic-payment discount.

You can receive the move-in discount without ACH autopay, but your monthly payment will be higher by the amount of the ACH discount. To receive the advertised ACH special price, select ACH/eCheck autopay when signing your rental agreement and remain enrolled.

After the two- or three-month special shown for your unit ends, the temporary move-in discount ends. You pay the regular monthly price shown for your selected offer in the table: the Standard Price without ACH autopay, or the ACH Price while you remain enrolled in ACH autopay.

  • A minimum six-month stay is required. If your stay is shorter than six months, all discounts received must be repaid.
  • Reserve before October 31, 2026, and move in within seven days of the unit’s stated availability date.
  • The special applies only to available units and eligible customers, as explained in section 3.
  • Late payments or rejected ACH/eCheck payments result in loss of discounts.

3. Online-only rates and reservation requirements

The online-only rates and move-in specials are available to new customers and returning customers who have not rented a space with us within the previous six months. Transfers and additional spaces do not qualify.

  • Reserve online directly through this website to receive these offers. Phone, walk-in, and third-party reservations do not qualify.
  • A $24 administrative fee applies when receiving an online-only rate or special. Additional move-in charges may apply.
  • These offers cannot be combined with the free-lock offer, truck rental discount, or military, police, fire, or EMT discounts.
